RIVERSIDE SUMMER CAMP FULL DAY PROGRAM

Full Day Program

Time 8:30 am - 5:00 pm 

After the 12:30 pm dismissal, children who are registered for the full-day program are combined in mixed age-group classrooms. Children have lunch, packed from home, followed by rest time. Parents have the option to pickup students starting at 2:30 pm.

Weekly Fee: $1,200 Select the weeks of your choice!

Families can sign up for the weeks of their choice!

WEEK 1 Splash into Summer: Monday, June 17 - Friday, June 21

Campers will learn about the world of water and water cycles through fun experiments and classroom activities.

*Camp will be closed on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

WEEK 2 Space Explorers: Monday, June 24 - Friday, June 28

Join us for an out-of-this-world adventure, where campers will blast off into space to learn all about our solar system. They will make their own constellations & telescopes, "stargaze", and explore our galaxy through crafts such as making moon sand, all while listening to stories about the wonders of the universe.

 

 

WEEK 3 Stars and Stripes: Monday, July 1 - Wednesday, July 3 

Celebrate America's Independence Day with plenty of festive crafts! Campers will create star-spangled art, enjoy red, white, and blue-themed snacks, and host their own Independence Day parade.

*Camp will be closed on July 4 & 5 in observance of Independence Day.

WEEK 4 Animal Planet: Monday, July 8 - Friday, July 12

Children will spend the week learning about animal life, their habitats, and creating art inspired by their favorite animals. An instructor from Art Farm will also visit us with some furry friends!

 

WEEK 5 Inventors Workshop: Monday, July 15 - Friday, July 19

This week, campers will explore do-it-yourself projects, engineering, experimenting, crafting, and other discovery projects. They will learn how to use a variety of tools to create unique items based on their imagination.

 

 

WEEK 6 Little Bakers: Monday, July 22 - Friday, July 26

Calling all bakers! Join us in mastering basic baking skills such as kneading dough, mixing ingredients, and using math and science to create delicious recipes every day.

 

 

WEEK 7 Go Green!: Monday, July 29 - Friday, August 2

Reduce, reuse, recycle! During this week, campers will participate in a nature scavenger hunt, creating collages from found/recycled materials, and growing their own plants. 

 

 

WEEK 8 Around the World: Monday, August 5 - Friday, August 9

Campers will take a trip around the world making four dishes that represent four different continents. They will cook, dance, and listen to music that celebrates each continent's dynamic culture. Our menu will be posted in June — stay tuned!

 

 

WEEK 9 Sports Adventures: Monday, August 12 - Friday, August 16

Each day, campers will learn and practice basic skills for a different sport, culminating in our Fired up Field Day! Activities will include balloon tennis, soccer, obstacle courses, relay races, splash ball, and medal making.
