RIVERSIDE AFTER-SCHOOL & CLUBHOUSE POLICIES

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • Our after-school program offers a wide variety of specialty classes and activities one day a week per session. Session length and cost can vary; sessions are held from 2:30-3:30 pm, unless otherwise stated on our schedule.

  • The Health Office is open daily from 7:30 am until 5:30 pm.

  • In the event that the healthcare provider is not available, we have an adequate number of faculty and staff members who are First Aid and CPR-AED trained to respond to medical emergencies during after-school programs.

SECURITY POLICIES

  • In order to maintain a productive and safe environment for all Dwight community members, we request that all parents and guardians wear their School-issued parent/caregiver ID badges when dropping off and picking up children. Our Security team is strictly enforcing this policy. Please click here to submit a new or replacement lanyard request.

FINANCIAL AID

  • Financial Aid for after-school programs and Clubhouse extended day service is available to families receiving Financial Aid from the school.

AFTER-SCHOOL POLICIES

There are no exceptions to this policy; please be familiar with the policy before registering your child for after-school programs.

  • Classes have limited capacity. Be sure to sign up early.

  • Please review the living 2023-24 After-school Calendar with important key dates and registration timeline.

  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Confirmation of registration will be sent shortly before the start of the program.

  • Classes have a limited capacity: 12 students per activity unless otherwise stated. A waiting list is available and based on the order of sign-up.

  • If a student is absent from school on any given day, then they cannot attend after-school programs.

  • Students are expected to follow the same standards of conduct and behavior expectations during Dwight after-school programs that are required during the regular school day.

  • Students who are enrolled in after-school programs must be picked up no later than their program end time. Students who are not picked up on time will be placed into our Clubhouse service and incur Clubhouse fees. Families may be asked to withdraw from the program if pick-up times are not honored.

  • Snacks: A healthy, no-nut snack and water bottle are encouraged for all after-school programs. Please pack a labeled extra snack for after-school/Clubhouse in your child’s backpack.
