Private Piano Lessons | Preschool 3s & Pre-K 

Start your child on the path to a life full of music! These private, one-on-one classes for young beginners or returning students capture your child’s playful spirit. They are taught by our expert piano instructor, who attended Mannes Conservatory of Music. Your child will be introduced to directional pre-reading, elementary music theory, and technique with engaging songs, games, and creative discovery at the piano keys. Your child will also learn ear training and eye training throughout the course. A piano or keyboard will be provided.

Painting and Mixed Media|2:45-3:30 pm|Preschool 3s & Pre-K |$540

CLAY WORLD explores the world of art with our Painting and Mixed Media class. Students will create paintings and explore various techniques using construction paper, acrylic paint, clay, pencils, colored pencils, and more on canvases. By the end of the term, children will host their own art show, showcasing their unique art pieces.

Cubelets® by Snapology | 2:45-3:30 pm |Preschool 3s & Pre-K |$540

In this challenge-focused program, your child will begin to develop their computational thinking skills by playing with modular, robotic cubes known as Cubelets®! Imagine this — every way students snap the magnetic cubes together creates a unique robot, but can they figure out the perfect robot recipe to solve a challenge? Students will work in small teams to figure out how to create lighthouses, racer bots, wheelie bots, goofy animals, and so much more! Is your child ready to play and tinker all day with Snapology?

Get the ball rolling! Join French Football Academy for a fun and energetic soccer program right here at Dwight. Dynamic international coaches work with every student to develop skills, self-confidence, and teamwork in a fun, non-competitive environment. Positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio ensure that each child will improve their soccer skills. 

Thursdays

Group Tennis | 2:45-3:30 pm |  Preschool 3s & Pre-K | $600

Taught by Ms. Scher, students will engage in a variety of warm-up activities and games that are designed to improve hand-eye coordination, swinging form, and sportsmanship. Your child will learn how to handle a ball and the racquet independently, improving their grip and familiarizing them with how to appropriately hold the racquet. Students will feel the production of a stroke without having the pressure of having to connect with the ball. Games will improve their hand-eye coordination, swinging form, and positive attitude about tennis. Playing with a group makes teamwork an essential part of the class.

Musicals Theater Show Class: Trolls| 2:45-3:30 pm | Preschool 3s & Pre-K |$540

Join Poppy and Branch on this exciting adventure to save our friends! This production is uplifting and full of spirit as it teaches us what we can accomplish when we work together. Led by the pros at the DramaZone® This class includes songs, dances, scenes, and games based on the movie Trolls! in preparation for a show for friends and family. Children will also have technical instruction in acting, singing, and dancing.

Tennis by SuperStars Tennis | 2:45-3:30 pm |  Preschool 3s & Pre-K | $540

Our “Little Aces Tennis Program” tennis classes have become a big hit! Get your tennis shoes on and get ready to be the next tennis superstar! Our program is designed for the young tennis enthusiast, and will emphasize tennis fundamentals: learning how to hit forehands, backhands, and volleys with the proper technique and grip, as well as providing drills, games, hand-eye coordination, sportsmanship, team-building skills, muscle memory exercises, and —  last but not least — FUN! We use many colorful props, targets, cones, sports ladders, etc. to make it especially fun and safe for our students. Best of all, we provide all the equipment necessary for class for your child to enjoy tennis, a sport of a lifetime!
